The Other Side - the Doors italian Tribute Band, were born in 2014 in the province of Varese from the ashes of a previous Doors tribute band and after just a month they are ready for their first live; since then a hundred concerts in Northern and Central Italy and abroad.

Passion, talent and freedom of expression: these are the Other Side and the goal is to be able to reproduce the vibrations and emotions of which the Californian quartet was the bearer, proposing both the most famous songs and those for connoisseurs, both they in studio or live version.

The recreated atmospheres, the refined clothes, the fidelity of execution transform each performance into a unique, psychedelic and hypnotic event; nothing is left to chance, everything is meticulously prepared and with the utmost seriousness and professionalism without however neglecting the innate desire to have fun and make music ... just close your eyes and let yourself be carried away to relive those magical atmospheres such as those of Whiskey a Go Go on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood.

An experience, a journey through time and music to live together...

Dan

Dan (Danilo Passeri) approaches the world of music in the early 90s, becoming passionate about and experimenting with the origins of rock. In the first experiences, in fact, are the works of Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Cream, Rolling Stones, CCR, Jetro Tull, ZZTop etc. which form his first repertoire and it is in this period that he is struck by the figure of Jim Morrison.

Over the years he has experimented with many genres including Prog/Symphonic Metal (Etheria, 1 EP), Blues, Country, Acoustic and Hard Rock.

At the beginning of 2002 he joins Air to Brains where he returns to his origins as a 60s/70s cover band and in which he plays for about 9 years. In the meantime, he perfected his technique at the Music Secrets music school and, between 2012 and 2013, he often changed bands without finding the right dimension. Finally, then, he fulfills his dream of playing for a Doors tribute band and, after a brief adventure made of lights and shadows in one of these tributes, he is the founder with Marc, in the summer of 2014, of the Other Side

Ale (Alessandro Borgini), graduated from the Civic Jazz Courses of Milan in 2013, is mainly active in the fields of jazz and black music but has collected various experiences in very different styles (from tango to post-punk) including a previous The doors tribute band.
In 2018 he participated in the Siena Jazz summer seminars studying with Giovanni Falzone, Matt Pennman, Stefano Battaglia, Shane Endsley, Gilad Hekselman,
Roberto Cecchetto, Nir Felder and Lage Lund.
Over the years he has collaborated with various Italian and foreign musicians including Walter Calafiore, Alberto Marsico, Sabir Mateen,
Michael Rosen, Francesco Manzoni, Marco Bonetti, Mario Zara, Wally Allifranchini, Nicola Stranieri and many others. He is a permanent member of the Faraggiana Big Band, the permanent orchestra of the Faraggiana theater in Novara directed by Claudio "Wally" Allifranchini.

This is how, finally, at the beginning of 2014, he decides to move actively and look for a high-level tribute with which he can express his potential. It didn't take long before the project kicked off: in fact, from September 2014,  founded the Other Side with Dan.
